Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity places these values at the forefront through preparing its Brothers in a myriad of ways. Alumni Discussions

We reach out to Alumni from our chapter to give their own experiences to current Brothers. This network opens doors across engineering industries for Brothers. Whether it's secrets of their engineering subdiscipline or some fond memories of their undergraduate experience, advice from our alumni provides significant knowledge and guidance.

Resume Reviews

Brothers have multiple resources if they seek to refine their resume. Through workshops, office hours, and group discussions, Brothers understand how to show their best selves on a single page, especially in a world with new technological barriers to professional success.

Career Fair Preparation

Theta Tau holds prep workshops and debriefs for Engineering Career fairs. These workshops provide Brothers insight about optimal strategies to use at the career fair. These events ready Brothers to secure internships or full-time offers, some even in their early years of undergrad.

Regionals + Nationals

The Phi Delta chapter of Theta Tau participates in the Gulf Regionals Conference. The Gulf Regionals conference allows Brothers to connect and learn from other chapters, in hopes of growing the fraternity on both a local to national level. Nationals is another conference that occurs, where more networking takes place.

Professional Development does not necessarily have to be associated with suits, ties, resumes, and other formal activities. In Theta Tau, Professional Development is cultivated through leisurely activities where the same soft and hard skills needed to succeed are strengthened over joyous occasions and laughter.
